Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan, an ex-girlfriend of Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz, has shared her thoughts on his recent marriage to fellow artist Zuchu.
Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu, a singer signed to his record label, reportedly had a private wedding on June 1, 2025.
In a video circulating on social media, Hassan, who previously ended her relationship with Platnumz due to his alleged infidelity, praised Zuchu’s resilience in handling his “antics.”
“Zuchu wins girlfriend award of the year. She is strong. We could not do it,” Hassan stated in an interview with AyoTV. “I hope Platnumz treats her better now because she’s a wife now. Let him change, it would be really nice. That guy is pulling out a lot of shit.”
Hassan’s past split from the singer was widely reported to be a result of his cheating habits.
