Kanye West, who officially changed his name from Kanye Omari West to Ye in 2018, appears to be adopting another new moniker:
“Ye Ye.” This latest iteration of his name was revealed in business documents filed in California by his chief financial officer, Hussain Lalani, who referred to West as “Ye Ye” in multiple instances. While “Ye Ye” is appearing in business records, it remains unconfirmed whether West has formally petitioned for a legal name change. In California, a legal name change requires public notice in a local newspaper before a judge can approve the request.
