Nigerian singer Victony, whose real name is Anthony Ebuka Victor, recently shared a personal revelation: he relies on alcohol to boost his stage performances.
The “Soweto” hitmaker admitted in a chat with Behind The Prestige that he’s “never been on stage without taking alcohol.” However, Victony plans to change this habit during his current “Stubborn” tour. He aims to perform sober, hoping to “see my fans clearly and truly connect with them.” He acknowledged that it’s “a big challenge,” but expressed his desire to “just want to try.”
