Funeral for Beloved Gospel Singer Leilah Suzan Set for Tomorrow in Gumbo
Juba, South Sudan – Beloved gospel singer Leilah Suzan, who tragically passed away on Wednesday due to a car accident, will be laid to rest tomorrow, Friday, June 6, 2025, at her family home in Gumbo.
The South Sudan Gospel Artists Association (SSGAA) announced the funeral arrangements, stating that a procession will depart Munuki Mortuary at 9:00 AM, arriving in Gumbo by 11:00 AM. Mourners in Gumbo are invited to gather at Suk Wewe by 10:00 AM to join the procession.
A prayer and thanksgiving service will be held at the family home from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by the burial ceremony. The SSGAA encourages fans, fellow artists, and the public to support Leilah Suzan’s family and honor her legacy of worship.
